Mobile Proxies for Social Media Teams

Every network publishes its own rule on multiple accounts. Match the line setup to the rule: one steady carrier IP per account, or per account group.

Lines in stock today in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Brazil and Singapore start at $7 for 24 hours and $97 for 30 days, per dedicated line.

What each network says about multiple accounts

Short answer

Give each account, or each group of accounts that one person runs openly, one dedicated line in the account’s country and keep it steady. The networks differ: Instagram lets you add several accounts to one app, X and TikTok allow multiple accounts for genuine purposes, Facebook asks for one personal account per person, and LinkedIn wants one profile per real person. A line keeps sessions consistent; it does not change those rules.

From each network’s own help pages and policies, in our words. Rules change, so the source for each point is linked.

  • Instagram: several accounts in one app

Instagram’s Help Center says you can add up to 5 accounts in the app and switch between them.

  • TikTok: multiple accounts, not to deceive

Several accounts are allowed, for example for fan content or creative expression, as long as they are not used to deceive people or break the rules. Automation tools and scripts built to get around TikTok’s systems are prohibited.

  • Facebook: one personal account

Meta asks people to create one Facebook account using the name they go by in everyday life, and lists creating or maintaining multiple Facebook accounts as prohibited.

  • X: several accounts, inside the rules

X prohibits mass account registration and keeps people who run multiple accounts subject to all its rules. Controlling accounts on behalf of others, as social media managers do, is allowed while no rules are broken.

  • LinkedIn: one real person per profile

The User Agreement forbids creating a profile for anyone other than yourself, sharing your account, and using bots or unauthorised automation to drive inauthentic engagement.

  • Pinterest: no accounts to manipulate

Do not operate multiple accounts or coordinate with others to manipulate Pinterest, do not create accounts en masse, and do not use automation Pinterest has not approved.

  • Reddit: participate authentically

Reddit’s Rule 2 asks you to participate authentically in communities where you have a personal interest and not to engage in content manipulation.

  • YouTube: no artificial engagement

YouTube’s spam policy covers engagement manipulation, such as artificially inflating likes, views or subscribers through bots.

Network by network

The pattern is the same everywhere: the account, its country, its line and its browser profile stay together. What changes from network to network is how many accounts one person may run, so the number of lines follows the rule, not the other way round.

Snapchat belongs on this list too: its Community Guidelines count pay-for-follower promotions and other follower-growth schemes as spam, and its terms rule out unofficial apps.

Warm-up and steady habits

New accounts, and accounts on a new connection, get a closer look on every network. The answer is not a trick; it is a dull first few weeks: the same line and profile every day, normal session lengths, a properly filled-in profile and activity that grows slowly.

Rotation works against you here. A steady IP is part of what makes an account’s history consistent. Use the rotation link between sessions only when a line has a problem, and keep the timer off on account lines.

Our guides on warming up accounts and TikTok account warm-up go step by step.

Agencies and teams

Agencies run accounts for clients, and the networks expect it: X’s rules name social media managers, and Meta, LinkedIn and YouTube all have roles for people who manage someone else’s presence. Use those roles first. Shared passwords are the last resort, not the default.

Where someone must sign in as the account, give each client account its own line in the client’s country and its own browser profile, and leave two-step verification with the client. Our social media management guide and the social media proxy guide cover team setups in more depth.

Recommended setup for social accounts

Count lines from the rules, then keep every account on its own steady connection.

  1. Count lines from the rules

One line per account on networks that expect one account per person; one line per person on networks that let one person run several accounts openly.

  2. Pick each account’s country

Where the account’s owner or audience is. Keep it the same every day.

  3. One browser profile per account

In an antidetect browser, with matching time zone and language, and the account’s line attached to that profile only. See the antidetect browser setup guide.

  4. For phones, use OpenVPN

A test phone gets the line’s OpenVPN profile where the dashboard offers one, so every app on it uses the line.

  5. Check for leaks once

Run the WebRTC leak test in each profile before the first sign-in.

  6. Warm up slowly, timer off

Same line, same profile, ordinary pace, especially in the first weeks.

Symptoms, causes and fixes

Most social account trouble is consistency trouble.

  • A checkpoint or verification after login

Likely cause: A new device, a new location, or an IP that changed mid-session.

What to do: One profile and one line per account. Complete the check honestly.

  • Several accounts restricted together

Likely cause: A shared profile, cookies, recovery details or IP.

What to do: Separate them fully, and check the network’s rule on how many accounts one person may run.

  • Reach drops after using a growth tool

Likely cause: Automation the network has not approved.

What to do: Stop using it. TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Snap all prohibit unapproved automation.

  • Logged out while posting

Likely cause: A rotation timer, or a shared Reset Link someone opened.

What to do: Timer off on account lines, and keep the Reset Link private.

  • Content shows for the wrong country

Likely cause: The line, the device location and the language disagree.

What to do: Match all three to the account’s country.

  • A team member locked out

Likely cause: A personal browser used outside the shared profile.

What to do: Use the network’s team roles, or the shared profile only.

On networks that let one person run several accounts openly, one line per person can cover a small group, which lowers the count. At 10 lines the 10% volume code applies.

Worked out from the live catalog when this page was built. Data on dedicated lines is not metered, so the price does not change with traffic. Orders of 10 or more lines get 10% off and 25 or more get 15% off, as a code on request from hello@coronium.io. Carriers and regions for this country are on the United States mobile proxies page.

What a proxy cannot fix

A steady line is one part of a healthy account. The rest is the account itself.

  • Network rules

How many accounts one person may run is set by each network. A line does not change the number.

  • Automation

Unapproved automation is prohibited on most networks, from any IP.

  • Content and reach

Reach depends on content and audience, not the connection.

  • Verification

Identity and phone checks are answered by the account owner.

  • Bans

Appeals go through each network. A new account to get around a ban breaks most networks’ rules.

  • Fingerprints

Shared browser profiles link accounts even on separate lines.

Questions about social media proxies

How many social media accounts can share one proxy?

It depends on the network’s rule. Instagram lets one person add up to 5 accounts to one app, so those can share a line; Facebook expects one personal account per person, so each person gets their own line.

Should social media proxies rotate?

Not on account lines. Keep the IP steady and rotate only between sessions if a line has a problem, with at least 60 seconds between changes.

Mobile or residential proxies for social media?

Mobile carrier IPs are shared by many phone users through carrier-grade NAT, which suits apps built for phones. Our comparison of mobile and residential proxies for social media goes into detail.

Do I need a line in each account’s country?

Yes. An account that lives in Germany signs in from a German line every day, an account in the UK from a UK line.

How much do social media proxies cost?

Lines in stock today in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Brazil and Singapore start at $7 for 24 hours and $97 for 30 days, per dedicated line. One line per account, or per person where the network allows several accounts per person.

Can agencies manage client accounts through lines?

Yes, alongside each network’s team roles. One line per client account in the client’s country, with two-step verification kept by the client.
