Mobile Proxies for Tinder

Tinder’s terms name proxies among the tools you may not use to access or data-mine its service. Here is what that means, and the narrow jobs a line still fits.

Lines in stock today in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and Brazil start at $7 for 24 hours and $97 for 30 days, per dedicated line.

What Tinder checks and forbids

Short answer

Do not run Tinder accounts through a proxy. Tinder’s terms prohibit using robots, crawlers, proxies or other means to access, retrieve, index or data-mine the service, and its guidelines allow one account per person. Tinder places you by your device’s location, and Passport is the supported way to appear in another city. A carrier line fits only logged-out work: Tinder’s public pages and app store listings by country.

Tinder’s Terms of Use, Community Guidelines, Privacy Policy and help center, in our words:

  • Proxies are named in the terms

Among prohibited conduct, Tinder lists using any robot, crawler, site search or retrieval application, proxy or other manual or automatic means to access, retrieve, index or data-mine the service.

  • Disguising origin is prohibited

You may not forge headers or otherwise manipulate identifiers to disguise the origin of information sent to or through the service.

  • One person, one account

Each account has one owner, several people cannot share one, and one person cannot hold more than one account at a time.

  • Personal, not business

The guidelines ask for personal connections: no advertising, promotion, selling, fundraising or campaigning, and no third-party apps used to unlock features or game the system.

  • Location from the device

With your permission, Tinder collects your geolocation, meaning latitude and longitude, from your device. It also collects device data such as your IP address.

  • Passport is the supported way to move

Passport lets you set your location to another city. Tinder offers it on its paid plans and as a standalone purchase.

Why we say no to most Tinder proxy uses

Most people who look for a Tinder proxy want one of two things: to appear in another city, or to run more than one profile. Tinder covers the first with Passport, a paid feature that does exactly that, and rules out the second in its guidelines. A proxy is the wrong tool for both.

It is the wrong tool technically as well. Tinder places you by your phone’s latitude and longitude. An IP in another country does not move that, and a phone in Lisbon on a US address tells Tinder two stories that disagree. The terms forbid manipulating identifiers to disguise where traffic comes from, and that combination looks like exactly that.

We would rather say this plainly than sell a line that puts your account at risk.

Where a carrier line still fits

Logged-out market research. Tinder’s public website, help pages and app store listings differ by country: language, the plans on show, how the product is described. A clean browser profile on a line in that country shows the local version without touching an account or any member data.

Campaign landing pages. Agencies whose campaigns send people to a dating app’s store listing or website check those pages from the target country, logged out, to confirm the right language and offer appear.

That is the whole list. Anything that involves signing in, profiles or member data is outside it.

Setup for logged-out checks

No Tinder account involved. One browser profile per country.

  1. Pick the market

Buy a line in the country whose Tinder pages or store listings you need to see. A 24-hour line suits a one-off check.

  2. Make a clean profile

A browser profile that has never signed in to Tinder, with that country’s language and time zone.

  3. Attach the line

Copy the Connection IP, HTTP Port or SOCKS5 Port, Username and Password from Your Proxies into the profile.

  4. Confirm the country

Run the WebRTC leak test, then check that public pages load in the local language.

  5. Capture, do not collect

Take screenshots of public pages and store listings with the date and country. Do not script crawls of Tinder’s service, which its terms prohibit.

  6. One profile per market

Close the profile when you are done and use a separate one for the next country, so cached settings never leak between markets.

Symptoms, causes and fixes

The usual problems come from mixing accounts with checks, or from signals that disagree.

  • Banned after using a VPN or proxy

Likely cause: Signals that disagree, or use the terms prohibit.

What to do: Appeal through Tinder. Do not create another account; one person can have one.

  • Still shown in your home city

Likely cause: Tinder uses your device’s latitude and longitude.

What to do: Use Passport to appear somewhere else.

  • No Passport option

Likely cause: It comes with paid plans or as a separate purchase.

What to do: Get it from Tinder. A proxy is not a substitute.

  • Public pages in the wrong language

Likely cause: The profile’s language or cached settings.

What to do: Use a fresh profile with the country’s language.

  • A store listing shows another country

Likely cause: App stores follow the store account’s region, not only the IP.

What to do: Use the store’s public web listing for that country, logged out.

  • Pages load slowly

Likely cause: A busy cell near the device.

What to do: Replace the line from the dashboard if it stays slow.

What a market line costs

One line for 30 days in the first country on this page with stock. Most Tinder checks need only a day, so the 24-hour price matters more.

For a one-off look at another market, buy a 24-hour line in that country; the table above shows each 24-hour price. Passport and Tinder’s plans are billed by Tinder and are separate.

Worked out from the live catalog when this page was built. Data on dedicated lines is not metered, so the price does not change with traffic. Orders of 10 or more lines get 10% off and 25 or more get 15% off, as a code on request from hello@coronium.io. Carriers and regions for this country are on the United States mobile proxies page.

What a proxy cannot fix

For Tinder the honest answer is: almost everything people hope a proxy will fix.

  • Your match location

Tinder uses your device’s geolocation. Passport is the supported way to move.

  • More profiles

One person, one account, under Tinder’s guidelines.

  • Data collection

Tinder’s terms prohibit data-mining its service through proxies, crawlers or scripts.

  • Bans

Appeals go through Tinder. A new IP does not lift a ban, and a new account breaks the one-account rule.

  • Commercial use

Tinder is for personal connections. Promotion and advertising inside the app are not allowed.

  • Verification

Photo and identity verification are about you, not your network.

Tinder proxy questions

Does Tinder allow proxies?

Tinder’s terms list proxies among the means you may not use to access, retrieve, index or data-mine its service, and forbid manipulating identifiers to disguise where traffic comes from. We do not suggest running a Tinder account through a proxy.

How do I get Tinder Passport?

Tinder offers Passport on its paid plans and as a standalone purchase, inside the app.

Can I have two Tinder accounts with two proxies?

No. Tinder’s guidelines say one person cannot have more than one account at a time.

Logged-out checks of Tinder’s public website and app store listings in other countries, with no account involved.
