Mobile Proxies for Walmart

Walmart Marketplace allows one seller account per seller. A US carrier line gives your team one steady way in, and your research a separate one.

Lines in stock today in the United States start at $19 for 24 hours and $139 for 30 days, per dedicated line.

What Walmart checks for sellers

Short answer

Use one US line as the steady connection your team reaches Seller Center from, add each person as a user rather than sharing a password, and read your own catalog, prices and orders from the Marketplace APIs. Keep public-page monitoring on a second line, at a slow pace, with the store and ZIP code fixed in the session.

Walmartโ€™s Marketplace Learn guides and developer documentation set the rules a seller works inside. In our words:

One account, many hands

Walmartโ€™s multiple-accounts policy rules out running several seller accounts unless Walmart approves an exception, and related accounts can be suspended together. So the setup that matters is the one a single seller actually needs: one account, a team, and data.

A team that signs in from a mix of home connections, phone hotspots, a VPN and a cloud server gives one account a messy sign-in pattern. Seller Center already solves the people side: each person gets their own user and role. A dedicated US line solves the network side for the shared workstation or virtual desktop your team uses, so the account is always reached through one ordinary US carrier connection.

For teams outside the US this is the difference between a US business reached from the US and one reached from wherever staff happen to be that week. It is not a way around verification: Walmart still checks the business, and a line changes none of that.

Prices follow the store, not only the IP

Walmart.com labels list prices as the price when purchased online, and shows pickup and delivery options for the store and address you choose. A monitor that changes its IP but lets the store drift will compare different things on different days.

So fix three things on every run: a US line, a set store and a set ZIP code. Save all three next to every price you record. Then a change in the numbers means the price changed, not your setup.

For your own listings, do not scrape at all. The Marketplace APIs return your items, prices, inventory and orders with documented limits, and those limits belong to your seller account, so a proxy neither helps nor hurts there. Our Walmart price scraping guide covers the public-data side in more depth.

Recommended setup for Walmart

Two lines cover most sellers: one for Seller Center and one for research. Keep them apart.

  1. Buy a US line for Seller Center

Pick any US carrier with a line in stock. The T-Mobile mobile proxies and Verizon mobile proxies pages show what each carrier has today.

  2. Add your team as users

In Seller Center, open People and permissions and add each person with the lowest role that fits. Keep Admin for people who can accept terms for the business.

  3. Attach the line to one workstation

Set the Seller Center line on the workstation, virtual desktop or browser profile your team uses for Walmart, and nowhere else. Copy the Connection IP, port, Username and Password from Your Proxies.

  4. Turn the timer off

Seller Center sessions should not change IP. Leave rotation off on this line and rotate by hand only if it misbehaves, between sessions.

  5. Read your data through the APIs

Generate API credentials as an admin and pull items, prices and orders through the Marketplace APIs. Honour 429 responses and the replenishment header instead of retrying in a loop.

  6. Monitor competitors from a second line

Use a separate US line and browser profile with a fixed store and ZIP. Load a few pages a minute, rotate between batches with the rotation link or the API, and save store, ZIP and time with each price.

Symptoms, causes and fixes

Walmart problems split into account problems, which a line does not touch, and data problems, which it often does.

  • 429 Too Many Requests from the API

Likely cause: Your sellerโ€™s token bucket for that endpoint is empty. More IPs do not refill it.

What to do: Read the token count and replenishment headers, queue calls and batch price updates.

  • Team members keep getting asked to verify

Likely cause: Everyone signs in from different networks and devices, or people share one login.

What to do: Give each person a user, and run Walmart work from one workstation on the Seller Center line.

  • Competitor prices jump between runs

Likely cause: The store or ZIP in the session changed, or the lineโ€™s region changed after a replacement.

What to do: Set store and ZIP on every run and save them with each price. Check the lineโ€™s region in the dashboard.

  • Product pages answer with a human check

Likely cause: Too many page loads in a short time from one IP.

What to do: Slow down, rotate between batches and keep monitoring off the Seller Center line.

  • Account under review

Likely cause: A policy, performance or identity matter.

What to do: Work it through Seller Center and Walmart support. A new account to get around it breaks the multiple-accounts policy.

  • The line is slow at busy hours

Likely cause: A crowded cell near the device.

What to do: Rotate between batches, or replace the line from the dashboard, up to 2 times in a rolling 24 hours.

Walmartโ€™s referral fees and any fulfilment costs are separate and paid to Walmart. If you only need Seller Center access, one line is enough. Research needs its own line, because research rotates and Seller Center sessions should not.

Worked out from the live catalog when this page was built. Data on dedicated lines is not metered, so the price does not change with traffic. Orders of 10 or more lines get 10% off and 25 or more get 15% off, as a code on request from hello@coronium.io. Carriers and regions for this country are on the United States mobile proxies page.

What a proxy cannot fix

A US carrier line is a clean way in. It does not change the rules of the account behind it.

  • A second seller account

Walmart prohibits multiple seller accounts unless it grants an exception. A different IP does not make an unapproved account acceptable.

  • API throughput

Limits are allotted per seller and per endpoint. Extra lines do not add calls.

  • Business verification

Decided by documents and business records, never by the network.

  • Performance metrics

Late shipments, cancellations and response rates follow the account, wherever it signs in from.

  • Other countries

This is a US setup. Walmart sites in other countries run separately, with their own rules.

  • Heavy scraping

A carrier IP is treated like a shopper, so behave like one. Hammering product pages gets challenged from any IP.

Walmart proxy questions

Can I run several Walmart seller accounts with proxies?

Walmartโ€™s Multiple Seller Accounts Policy prohibits multiple seller accounts unless Walmart grants an exception for a significant business reason, and related accounts can be suspended together. Run one account with several users instead.

Why use a US mobile line for Seller Center?

It gives the account one ordinary US connection to be reached from, instead of a mix of home networks, hotspots and VPNs. It matters most for teams outside the US or spread across several places.

Do I need a proxy for the Walmart Marketplace API?

No. API limits are set per seller and enforced with a token bucket, so the IP you call from does not change them. Use a line for Seller Center and for public product pages.

Which US carrier should I pick?

Any US carrier with a line in stock. The table on this page lists the carriers in stock today, and the dashboard confirms the region before you pay.

How much does a Walmart proxy setup cost?

Lines in stock today in the United States start at $19 for 24 hours and $139 for 30 days, per dedicated line. A seller who wants both Seller Center access and competitor monitoring needs two lines, as in the worked example on this page.

Should the IP rotate for Walmart monitoring?

Between batches, yes, through the rotation link or the API, with at least 60 seconds between changes. Never on the Seller Center line, where the IP should stay the same for the whole session.
