Mobile Proxies for Cloud Phones

A cloud phone is an Android device in a data center, so by default its apps see a hosting address. One carrier line per phone fixes that part.

Lines in stock today in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Singapore and Brazil start at $7 for 24 hours and $97 for 30 days, per dedicated line.

What apps check on a cloud phone

Short answer

Give each cloud phone its own dedicated line in the country it should appear in, paste the line into the phone platformโ€™s per-phone proxy settings, put its Reset Link in the rotation field where there is one, and never share a line between phones. That swaps the data-center IP for an ordinary carrier IP. It does not change device integrity checks, which look at the device rather than the network.

Apps ask a cloud phone two separate questions: where is it connecting from, and is it a genuine device. A proxy answers only the first. Here is what the documentation says about each.

  • Device integrity is about the device

Googleโ€™s Play Integrity API returns device labels: MEETS_DEVICE_INTEGRITY for a genuine, certified Android device, MEETS_STRONG_INTEGRITY when it also has recent security updates, and MEETS_BASIC_INTEGRITY for weaker checks.

  • Emulators can fail it

An empty device verdict covers devices with signs of attack or compromise, and apps that are not running on a physical device, such as an emulator that does not pass Google Play integrity checks.

  • The verdict does not use your IP

The verdict fields Google documents describe the request, the app, the account, the device and its environment. None of them is the network or the IP address.

  • Unusually busy devices stand out

Play Integrity can also report, in levels, how many integrity tokens a device has requested for an app in the last hour, so a device that asks unusually often is visible to the app.

  • Carrier addresses sit behind CGNAT

Mobile carriers share public addresses among many subscribers through carrier-grade NAT; RFC 6598 reserves 100.64.0.0/10 for the carrier side of that setup. That shared, consumer pattern is what a carrier IP looks like to an app.

What a cloud phone shows by default

Cloud phone services run Android, on real hardware or virtualised, in a data center, and you control each phone from a browser or desktop app. Out of the box, the phoneโ€™s traffic leaves through the providerโ€™s network, so every app on it sees a hosting companyโ€™s address.

That mismatch is what a mobile line removes. An app that sees an Android phone on a mobile carrier sees something ordinary. An app that sees an Android phone on a hosting network sees something people rarely carry in a pocket. Look up the phoneโ€™s current address with the ASN lookup and the IP reputation check before and after you add the line.

Give each cloud phone its own line. Several phones behind one IP look like one person holding several phones, which is the pattern multi-account checks look for.

The device side is separate. Googleโ€™s Play Integrity documentation describes verdicts built from the device, its software and the app, so an app that refuses to run on an uncertified virtual device will keep refusing, whatever line you attach.

Setup by cloud phone platform

Most cloud phone platforms have the same three fields: the proxy type, the address with credentials, and a rotation or change-IP link. Where they put them differs.

Clousd. Our Clousd setup guide walks through it with screenshots: paste the line as host:port:user:pass or a socks5:// URL, set the IP type to mobile, and paste the lineโ€™s Reset Link into Clousdโ€™s Rotation link field, so the phoneโ€™s New IP button rotates the line.

DuoPlus and GeeLark. Both let you assign a proxy to each cloud phone. Our DuoPlus review and GeeLark review describe each platform; in both, set the proxy on the phone itself rather than in an app.

VMOS Cloud and others. Look for a per-phone proxy setting that accepts SOCKS5 with a username and password. If a platform only offers one proxy for all phones, each phone still needs its own line, so confirm per-device settings before you buy several lines.

  • Proxy type

    What to paste

    SOCKS5, or HTTP

    Notes

SOCKS5 carries any TCP traffic from the phone

  • Host and port

    What to paste

Connection IP with the SOCKS5 Port or HTTP Port

    Notes

Both ports share one Username and Password

  • Username and password

    What to paste

    From Your Proxies

    Notes

    Never shared between phones

  • Rotation or change-IP link

    What to paste

    The lineโ€™s Reset Link

    Notes

Every request to it rotates the line, link previews included

  • IP type

    What to paste

    Mobile, where the platform asks

    Notes

Recommended setup for cloud phones

One phone, one line. The phone platform does the rest.

  1. Pick a country per phone

Buy one line per cloud phone, in the country that phoneโ€™s apps should see.

  2. Copy the line details

From Your Proxies: the Connection IP, SOCKS5 Port, Username and Password, and the Reset Link from the IP Rotation block.

  3. Paste into the phoneโ€™s proxy settings

Use the platformโ€™s per-phone proxy field and choose SOCKS5 where it is offered.

  4. Add the Reset Link

Paste it into the rotation or change-IP field if the platform has one, so the phone can ask for a new IP.

  5. Check from inside the phone

Open the ASN lookup in the phoneโ€™s own browser. It should name the mobile carrier, not a hosting company.

  6. Rotate between sessions only

Change the IP between work sessions, at least 60 seconds apart. Leave the timer off on phones whose accounts should keep one IP.

Symptoms, causes and fixes

Cloud phone problems split into network problems, which a line fixes, and device problems, which it does not.

  • Apps still see a hosting IP

Likely cause: The proxy was set for one app or the browser only, or not applied to the phone.

What to do: Use the platformโ€™s phone-level proxy setting and check again with the ASN lookup.

  • An app says the device is not supported

Likely cause: A device integrity check failed. The network plays no part in it.

What to do: Try a phone type the platform offers with Google Play certification, or accept the app will not run there.

  • The New IP button does nothing

Likely cause: The Reset Link is missing from the rotation field, or 60 seconds have not passed.

What to do: Paste the Reset Link and wait at least 60 seconds between rotations.

  • The IP changes on its own

Likely cause: Someone opened the Reset Link, or a chat appโ€™s link preview did.

What to do: Keep the link out of chat apps and shared documents.

  • Two phones linked by an app

Likely cause: A shared line, shared recovery details or the same device fingerprint.

What to do: One line per phone, and separate recovery emails and numbers.

  • Slow app downloads

Likely cause: Weak signal at the device or a busy cell.

What to do: Replace a line that stays slow from the dashboard, up to 2 times in a rolling 24 hours.

The cloud phone platform bills separately for the phones themselves. Mixing countries is fine: price each one from the table above.

Worked out from the live catalog when this page was built. Data on dedicated lines is not metered, so the price does not change with traffic. Orders of 10 or more lines get 10% off and 25 or more get 15% off, as a code on request from hello@coronium.io. Carriers and regions for this country are on the United States mobile proxies page.

What a proxy cannot fix

A line fixes where the phone connects from. Everything about the phone itself stays as the platform built it.

  • Device integrity

Play Integrity verdicts come from the device and its software, not the IP.

  • Store region

The Play Store follows the Google accountโ€™s country, not only the IP.

  • Device fingerprints

Models, build fingerprints and sensors come from the cloud phone platform.

  • App rules

Each appโ€™s own rules about multiple accounts still apply on every phone.

  • Shared lines

Several phones on one line still look linked, whatever else differs.

  • Data caps

Brazil lines carry 20 GB a month. Elsewhere, data on dedicated lines is not metered.

Questions about cloud phones

Why does a cloud phone need a mobile proxy?

Because its default connection is the providerโ€™s data center, so apps see a hosting address on a phone. A carrier line gives the phone an ordinary mobile IP.

Does a proxy help a cloud phone pass Play Integrity?

No. Play Integrity checks the device and its software, and the verdict fields Google documents do not include the IP address.

Do I need one line per cloud phone?

Yes. Several phones behind one IP look connected, which defeats the point of separate phones.

How do I rotate the IP from the cloud phone?

Paste the lineโ€™s Reset Link into the platformโ€™s rotation or change-IP field. Each request to it rotates the line, with at least 60 seconds between changes.

How much do lines for ten cloud phones cost?

Lines in stock today in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Singapore and Brazil start at $7 for 24 hours and $97 for 30 days, per dedicated line. Ten lines qualify for the 10% volume code on request, and 25 lines for 15%.

Which protocol should a cloud phone use?

SOCKS5 where the platform supports it, since it carries any TCP traffic from the phone. HTTP works on platforms that only offer HTTP.
