Coronium Mobile Proxies
Setup guide

ProxyTool Proxy Setup

Send one app, or several, through a dedicated Coronium 4G or 5G line with ProxyTool, even apps that have no proxy settings.

ProxyTool is a proxy client for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS, and an alternative to Proxifier. It catches an application's traffic at the system level and sends it through the proxy a rule names, so apps such as Discord or a game client can use a carrier line without a proxy box of their own.

ProxyTool partner offer: sign up for ProxyTool through our link and ProxyTool gives you 10% off your first month. The offer is ProxyTool's own, on ProxyTool's product; Coronium prices do not change. Get ProxyTool

Before you start

  • A Coronium line in the country you need

Each Coronium line is its own dedicated mobile device with its own SIM, so the country and carrier are chosen when you buy the line. There is no country setting in the username or password: to appear in another country, use a line from that country.

  • ProxyTool on the device

ProxyTool runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS. On Windows it needs Windows 10 or later (64-bit, Intel or AMD) and administrator rights once, for its network driver.

  • The line details at hand

Host, HTTP Port, SOCKS5 Port, username and password from Your Proxies in the Coronium dashboard. Keep the password out of screenshots.

Fields to copy from Coronium

In dashboard.coronium.io, open Your Proxies. In Cards view every value on the proxy card copies with a click. In List view the Connection column copies the whole endpoint, login included, in the format picked in the toolbar.

Connection IP
The host your tool connects to.
In ProxyTool: Host Address, or paste the whole string into Proxy Name (Quick Add)
HTTP Port
The port for HTTP on that host.
In ProxyTool: Port, with Proxy Type set to HTTP
SOCKS5 Port
The port for SOCKS5 on the same host.
In ProxyTool: Port, with Proxy Type set to SOCKS5
Username
One login for both ports.
In ProxyTool: Username, after turning on Requires Authentication
Password
The password for that login.
In ProxyTool: Password, in the same panel
Reset Link
Under IP Rotation on the card (Rotate API link in List view). Opening it changes the IP.
In ProxyTool: Not stored in ProxyTool. Rotate from the dashboard, the link, the API or a timer

Formats ProxyTool reads

SOCKS5 string
socks5://USERNAME:PASSWORD@CONNECTION_IP:SOCKS5_PORT
HTTP string
http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@CONNECTION_IP:HTTP_PORT
Host first (Quick Add)
socks5://CONNECTION_IP:SOCKS5_PORT:USERNAME:PASSWORD

Pair the protocol with its port: the SOCKS5 Port for SOCKS5, the HTTP Port for HTTP. The host, username and password are the same for both.

Set it up in ProxyTool

Add the line once, check it, then decide which apps use it. Everything else keeps your normal connection.

  1. Copy the line from Coronium

In the Coronium dashboard open Your Proxies and copy the line's host, port, username and password, or copy the whole endpoint from List view. Pick SOCKS5 or HTTP; both ports sit on the same host with the same login.

  2. Add the proxy

In ProxyTool open Proxies and click Add Proxy. Paste the endpoint into the Proxy Name field (Quick Add) and ProxyTool fills in the host, port and type. Or type them: Host Address, Port, Proxy Type (SOCKS5 or HTTP, matching the port), then turn on Requires Authentication and enter the username and password. Name it after the line, for example Coronium US line.

  3. Check the line before you route anything

Click Check in the dialog. ProxyTool runs its steps (connection, handshake, authentication, credential check, target) and ends with PASSED - All tests OK when the line answers. The exit country it shows is the country of the line you bought. If it is not the country you expected, the fix is a line from the right country, not a change to the username: Coronium logins carry no country parameter.

  4. Route an app with a rule

Open Rules and add a rule. Under Application / Process enter the app, for example Discord.exe, or use Browse to pick it. Set Action to Proxy and select the Coronium line. Leave the Default rule last so unmatched traffic keeps your normal connection.

  5. Or ask the ProxyTool assistant

Describe the result in plain words, for example "Route Discord through Coronium US line". The assistant proposes the proxy and the rule; read the proposal and apply it. You can also paste the line's endpoint into the chat.

  6. Keep DNS on the line

On the DNS page, turn on Resolve hostnames through proxy so the routed app's lookups go through the line too. The Coronium Connection IP is an address, not a hostname, so ProxyTool does not need a local lookup to reach the line itself.

Changing the IP

ProxyTool does not need to know when the IP changes. Rotate the line by its Reset Link, by the API or on a timer, and the host, port and login in ProxyTool stay the same, so every rule keeps working.

Connections that are open while the line rotates can drop. Apps reconnect through the same rule and leave from the new address, which comes from the same carrier in the same country.

Rotate from a script (one request, one rotation)
curl -s "PASTE_YOUR_RESET_LINK"

Which apps share a line

A rule sends an app through one proxy, and every app routed to the same line shares its IP and its rotations. Keep apps that must look separate on separate lines, each with its own ProxyTool entry and rule.

Rules can also match target hosts and ports, so one app can use the line only for chosen sites and go direct for the rest. The first matching rule wins; reorder rules with the arrows on the Rules page.

Check it worked

Run these from the app you routed, or from a browser you routed with its own rule. A browser that is not covered by a rule shows your normal connection.

The IP and the carrier
Open What Is My IP through the line. The country should be the line's country and the network should be the mobile carrier, not a hosting company.
WebRTC
Run the WebRTC leak test. The only public address it should report is the line's. Your own address showing up means the browser is leaking around the proxy.
Timezone against the IP
The IP and timezone check compares the clock the browser reports with the timezone of the IP. A mismatch is one of the first things anti-fraud systems look at.

When it does not connect

The check fails at authentication
The username or password is wrong, or Requires Authentication is off.
Turn on Requires Authentication and paste the username and password again from Your Proxies.
The check fails at the first step
Type and port do not match: SOCKS5 with the HTTP Port, or the other way round.
Pair SOCKS5 with the SOCKS5 Port, or HTTP with the HTTP Port, and check again.
The exit country is not the one you want
The country belongs to the line. It cannot be changed in the login.
Use a line from the country you need, and keep the username exactly as the dashboard shows it.
The app still shows your own IP
No rule matches the app, or a rule above it sends it direct.
Check the process name in the rule against the live connections list, and move the rule above any Direct rule.
Sites still see your own DNS provider
Hostnames are resolved on your computer.
Turn on Resolve hostnames through proxy on the DNS page and run the leak tests again.
The IP stayed the same after a rotation
Two rotations less than 60 seconds apart, or the carrier handed back the same address.
Wait at least 60 seconds and rotate again. If the carrier keeps the address, replace the line from the dashboard (up to 2 per rolling 24 hours).

Questions

Do I set the country in the Coronium username?

No. Each Coronium line is one dedicated mobile device with its own SIM, so the country and carrier are fixed when you buy the line. The username and password carry no country parameter. For another country, add a line from that country as a second proxy in ProxyTool.

Should I use the HTTP or the SOCKS5 port in ProxyTool?

Either works for TCP traffic. Every Coronium line has an HTTP port and a SOCKS5 port on the same host with one login. ProxyTool notes that UDP routing needs a SOCKS5 proxy, so SOCKS5 is the simpler default.

Can ProxyTool route apps that have no proxy settings?

Yes. ProxyTool catches traffic at the system level, with a network driver on Windows and a network extension on macOS, and sends it through the proxy a rule names. The app itself needs no proxy settings.

Can I send only some apps through the line?

Yes. Add a rule per app with the action Proxy and keep the Default rule last. Apps without a rule keep your normal connection.

Who gives the 10% discount?

ProxyTool. It is ProxyTool's offer on its own subscription: 10% off the first month when you sign up through the Coronium partner link. Coronium line prices are not affected.

How we checked

Every ProxyTool menu name and field on this page was read from the pages below on 3 November 2026. The Coronium side comes from the dashboard and the live API. There are no screenshots: we quote the names instead of showing an account we do not run. If a label in ProxyTool has moved since, the tool's own page is the one to trust.
